End of introductory veneer pricing coming soon + we almost blow up our demo room with BASS!

Ok….I went a little over the top with stating that we almost blew up the demo room, but its impressive to say the least.

At this time we are finishing up an international order.   With this order we had a lot of A7 and P7 models ordered. We decided to put some P7-650 and P7S-650’s (Not a stocking item, its dual 13″ sealed cabinets powered off a single LT/1300) in the room.  The P7-650’s are also slightly custom, with the drivers side firing and not being downfiring.

Pictures after the break….

Left side of room.

Right side.

Now to talk about the wood veneer items. We are doing introductory pricing that can be read about here:

http://blog.edesignaudio.com/?p=853

The first set of pricing is the discounted rate, the second tier of pricing listed below is what the every day regular pricing will be. We have a very limited number of spots left on the introductory pricing, so feel free to give Brett or I a call at the shop with any questions.

Speaking of veneer. Here is an A7-900 starting assembly, you can see the bracing is already assembled, and rounded over (remember, that is 2″ thick bracing.)

This A7-900 will be done in Cherry, so keep an eye open for this guy to start.

Im personally excited to see the bamboo cabinets shipping.

We have 3-4 other A7-900’s in the building at this time.

Here is one all ready to get QC tested and shipped out.

Im not sure if this one counts, but we made a scale model of the A7-900, here is Brett rocking this baby A7-900 to sleep.

Here is a canoe…I mean A7S-650 packaged up and ready to go out today.

Custom stuff has been big the last couple month, but its been so busy we fail to get some pictures.

Here is a custom angle center channel, and a guitar template.

And last for the day, A2-300’s. I think many of you will be pleasantly surprised to hear that we increased production yet again. The lead time is currently around a week on these units. :)

Are you all going to add electronics to that guitar blank? I’m curious to how that would turn out being made of EFS.

  2. Alex Lindeman Says:

It was actually a template for a customer.

Hes using is to make his own guitar.

  3. Jimmy Says:

An EFS guitar body would work out pretty good I think. The body of an Electric guitar should be heavy and dense. EDF is heavy and dense. I don’t think an EDF neck would be good.

  4. Jason Says:

Yeah, those are my bass guitar templates. The body and neck will be made from regular solid woods, and the templates will be used with a router and pattern/flush trim bits to shape the body, neck pocket, pickup routes, etc.

On a related note, I am really happy with how they turned out. I sent them a CAD drawing of what I wanted, they plugged it in to their magic box and out the other end came my templates. And trust me when I say they aren’t joking about their 0.001 inch accuracy claims. The neck fits the pocket absolutely perfectly.

  5. Alex Lindeman Says:

    Jason,

It was a much tighter fit before we put it together and pulled it apart a couple times. I think Matt had to tap it together with a mallet the first time.

  6. BEN Says:

I had the chance to enjoy some serious sound in this room and let me tell you, it was loud, clean, and full of deep bass! I can’t wait to play video games in that room someday too :)
