A7-900 Production Pictures
So today it felt as if we had a child leave, the first true production A7-900 got loaded up today to make its journey to the place it will call home. With that, pictures of course had to be taken for the new production pictures. Now please note, no eD employees were hurt during this photo shoot. ^_^
Also, once I have the website all updated the price change will be in effect for the new front firing design.
On to the pictures.

Oh I’ve got more. But I would like to note this thing was a monster to package, and I do ask for the lucky home it is going to. Please take pictures as you unload it, also have someone there to take pictures of your face when it is opened.

And please note, this is the vanity shot. On its side as you get to look at the bottom.

All in all the pictures don’t even do it justice for the raw size of this beast. Alex and I were joking that I should have driven the xA into the shop and parked it next to the A7-900. Alex thought that might just scare people, though I was going to try for that one camera shot that would have made the A7-900 look like it was trying to eat my car. But due to time constraints, it didn’t happen… Yet…
The cool thing about this design isn’t really just that we’ve got a new subwoofer updated. It marks a pretty official upgrade to a industry leading product.
The upgrades
1. New design has more extension below 20hz (lower tuning)
2. New electronics are a modified platform to further extrapolate more SPL.
3. EFS is used throughout.
4. New 2″ thick EFS bracing.
5. Front firing design as requested.
The new design and upgrade has better materials, standard matte finish, is easier to place, has more SPL, more energy below 20hz, and is lighter. We’re using better materials and pulling out more performance at a better price.
It does not get much more straightforward than that from a upgrade standpoint

I want a pair of them… but not the broken house (or wallet) that a pair would ultimatly cause.

It looks great guys. I can promise you that it will be appreciated, and exercised, in its new home!

Would it be possible to turn it upside down and attach casters to that short angled part in the back? Thinking pro-audio application as well as HT??? Anyway… love it!

Oh god I want one of those things! I don’t think I know enough people to help me carry it into the house though
