Looking at the two, I think I’d still want the old style even though it’s gone. I like the mid better. Wish I’d seen this sooner. Two sets for sure.

How did the W6-6TC sell out so fast? The time stamp on my e-mail shows I got it at 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday but the blog shows they sold out before I got the e-mail. I’ve wanted a pair of these for years and kicked myself for not getting them at $475. Ugh. If anyone sends a pair back or you have an open box or demo set please let me know. Bummed.

Our newsletter starts to send around 9AM central time. Your time stamp is likely because you are at the end of the sending list.
We put this blog up on Monday afternoon, which sold some of them before the newsletter even started shipping. Around 10:30 am our last pair sold.
If a pair is returned, you will be the first we contact.

The mid used in the DL line was actually chosen for its increase in performance over the W6-6TC. This increase in performance is greatly noticed during higher output levels.

When the email was mass sent. We still had inventory available. Its likely if you are at the end of the email list, and did not check it right away, they quantity was simply sold out at that time.

I may be at the end of the list… but I was sitting at my computer when I received the e-mail, immediately followed the link… and they were sold out. No big deal, I’m sure the new version is nice. But, I do appreciate the finish of these over the new version.

It takes a few hours for our newsletter to send. This is why it was sold out before some people receive them.
The new DL series can also be done in a veneer or without the attached cosmetic face if people would like.
