Love and war.
Right.
I’ve started this post about 6 times now, didn’t like what I had, started over, repeat. So let’s see how I do with this one.
I’m sure most of you who are reading this know that we’re pretty busy. Every day there’s a point that I hit where I lose it for about 4.5 seconds, where I mentally hulk out on whatever I’m working on, and I use mind powers to utterly annihilate that which is directly in front of me. It makes me feel awesome. But I do this because if I didn’t I’m pretty sure I would end up in some kind of institution somewhere with a team of specialists studying me through a little plastic window. Lots of clipboards and little men with glasses and pens on strings. Though I think that if it came down to that, I would purposefully make their jobs difficult just for spite.
So why am I saying all of this? Because it’s fun, and it’s not often I get to sit down at the computer and type random stuff. The point I’m trying to get to, is we’re busy, very busy, we’re a little behind and we’re working as hard as we can. Are we getting anywhere? We sure are, and we’ve implemented a few rules, do’s and don’t’s, and mandatory meetings to help make sure we don’t ever fall this far behind again. And a bunch of 14 hour days.
Alright, let’s get on to some of the fun stuff. We’ve got some good stuff coming through the works, such as this crazy thing I’m building! What could it be!?!?
And what’s this!?!?
Those coming to the meet will be able to hear lots of cool new stuff. You are coming to the meet, right? Because if you do, you get to hear what these crossovers will be in! You’re do not want to miss the meet. Be here.
We’ve also been experimenting with some different paint finishes. While not quite as durable as our current paint we’re applying to our subwoofers, it sure does look nice.
We had a gentleman by the name of Nick stop in for a little bit over the weekend. Nick works with Goodyear for product development and gets to go to lots of cool races. That’s pretty awesome. He gave us hats!
Hey Nick, thanks for the hats! I know I’ll wear mine until it disintegrates.
The last thing that I’m going to talk about before I log off and do something productive is… weather. People often ask me if the weather is different here in Iowa than back home in Pennsylvania and it’s fairly similar, with a few exceptions. Iowa weather has ADD, I think, meaning that in one day it’ll be cool, rain for 4 hours, sunny and humid, 107 degrees, 40 degrees, possibly snow, and throw in a chance of a tornado at any given time. And that’s before noon.
These last 2 pictures were taken during the day. Enjoy, and farewell!
P.S. - You don’t want to miss the meet. Seriously.
